ProKnow is proud to support the annual meeting of the American College of Veterinary Radiology (ACVR) by hosting our first ever Veterinary Treatment Plan Study. The technology used for this study will be our ProKnow Systems plan study program.
|Patient||The patient is a 12-year-old neutered male Golden Retriever cross with a diagnosis of a heart base tumor.|
|Prescription||30 Gy in 3 fractions (10 Gy/fraction).|
|Plan Quality||Plan quality calculations will be based on 27 scored target and OAR metrics, plus two non-scored plan metrics (beams and MUs).|
PLAN STUDY LEADERS
The study is designed and led by a team from the University of Saskatchewan, led by Dr. Monique Mayer, DVM, MS, DACVR (RO).

Any and all veterinary clinicians who treat with radiation therapy are encouraged to participate.
In addition, radiation therapy experts who treat only humans are also invited to submit plans! After all, photons are photons and living souls are living souls, so please participate. We have a lot to learn from each other.
